This time the 20th installment will be sent to the farmers' account from Varanasi. PM Narendra Modi will send the money of the scheme to the farmers' account through video conferencing.

On the social media platform X, Agriculture INDIA has told through the post that, "No more waiting! The 20th installment of PM-Kisan will reach your account directly from Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh on August 2, 2025. If the message tone rings, understand that the amount of Kisan Samman has reached your account." After this post, it is clear that on August 2, 2000 thousand rupees will come in the account of the farmers.

What is PM Kisan Yojana?

Through the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana (PM-KISAN Yojana), the government provides financial assistance to crores of small and marginal farmers across the country. Under this scheme, 6000 thousand rupees are sent to the account of farmers in a year. The amount of the scheme is sent to the farmers' account in the form of 3 installments every four months. This time the 20th installment of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana will be sent to about 9.3 crore farmers of the country. However, the 20th installment of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana will be sent to the accounts of only those farmers whose KYC (e-KYC) and land verification process is complete.

If you want to take advantage of the Kisan Nidhi Yojana, then go to the bank and find out whether your Aadhaar is linked to the bank account or not. If not, then get it done immediately.

If you have not done e-KYC, then get it done by going to the official website of the scheme (pmkisan.gov.in) or any nearby CSC center.

If the land verification process has not been completed, then get it done in time through any medium online or offline.
