Sarfaraz Khan is now the talk of the town due to his drastic weight loss. Often criticised for not being fit, Sarfaraz lost an amazing 10 kilograms in the span of less than two months and now looks as fit as ever. It is a testament to his commitment and determination to get into shape in order to do well on the field.
Sarfaraz’s Diet
So what did Sarfaraz eat during his weight loss journey? He did have to give up his favourite biryani and even drank green coffee. All part of the process of becoming fitter. The 27-year-old now looks in great shape. His father Naushad, spoke to Hindustan Times and opened up on how he lost weight.

"We have controlled our diet a lot. We have stopped eating roti, rice, etc. We haven't eaten roti or rice at home for 1 to 1.5 months. We eat broccoli, carrots, cucumber, salad, and green vegetable salad. Along with that, we eat grilled fish, grilled chicken, boiled chicken, boiled egg, etc. We are also having green tea and green coffee," he said.
"We also eat avocados. There are sprouts also. But the main thing is that we have stopped eating roti and rice. We have stopped eating sugar. We have stopped eating maida (flour) and bakery items. He has almost lost 10 kgs within 1.5 months. He is working on reducing his weight even further," he added.

Sarfaraz also had whole foods and grilled or boiled meat to lose weight. The benefits of eating whole foods include nutrient-dense meals, reduced risk of heart disease, improved gut health and increased fibre intake. Meanwhile grilled or boiled chicken helps in weight loss and is easy to digest.
Not Impossible
Sarfaraz has proven to be an inspiration for health conscious people. As you can all see, it is not rocket science. Sarfaraz has done it, no reason why you cannot too? So what’s stopping you? Why not give it a try? One does have anything to lose but there is a lot to gain!
