On Sunday, August 10, 2025, Mumbai's Central Railway will implement a special midnight block for girder work between Kalyan, Ambernath, and Badlapur, while the Western Railway will conduct a Jumbo Block between Mahim and Santacruz for track maintenance; Harbour, Transharbour, and Uran lines will experience special traffic blocks, impacting suburban and mail/express train services, with diversions, cancellations, and short terminations to accommodate the maintenance work.
Central Railway announced the details of Mega Block on Sunday, i.e., on 10.08.2025. Western Railway also announced the details of Jumbo Blocks in the Western Line on 10.08.2025.
The block will affect:
Between Diva and Kalyan, several mail and express services will run on diverted routes, including Chennai Egmore, Amritsar, Sainagar Shirdi, Hatia, Mahanagari, Kushinagar, Azamgarh, Tapovan, Indrayani, and Tulsi Express.
Trains via Karjat–Panvel–Diva such as Konark, Visakhapatnam, Hussainsagar, Hospet, and Chennai Egmore Express will stop at Panvel and Thane for Kalyan passengers.

- Last CSMT–Kasara will leave at 10.19 pm; last Kasara–CSMT at 9.24 pm.
- Over 20 late-night services cancelled between Kalyan and Karjat/Kasara.
Sunday morning (Aug 10):
- First Ambernath–Karjat train at 4.46 am.
- First Karjat–CSMT at 4.10 am.
- First CSMT–Kasara at 4.40 am.
- First Kasara–CSMT at 4.52 am.
- First CSMT–Karjat at 6.46 am.
Harbour and Transharbour line restrictions
Harbour line between Vashi and Panvel will be shut 12.40 am to 10.45 am Sunday.
- CSMT–Mankhurd services will run during the block.
- Panvel/Belapur services will start or end at Nerul/Vashi.
- Transharbour line shut between Thane and Turbhe from 12.30 am to 5.30 am.
Jumbo block on Western Railway
- Mahim–Santacruz up fast line shut from midnight to 4.00 am.
- Down fast line shut from 12.30 am to 4.30 am.
