Vivo V60: Launch date, price, specifications, features, and everything you need to know

Vivo is gearing up to launch its latest V-series smartphone, the Vivo V60, in India on August 12. Ahead of the official debut, the company has already shared key specifications and showcased the complete design of the device.

Unlike its predecessor, the V50, which featured a dual-camera setup (wide and ultrawide), the Vivo V60 returns to a triple-camera system, reintroducing a dedicated telephoto lens for enhanced portrait photography while retaining the ultrawide option. This marks a return to a more versatile camera configuration. As with previous models, ZEISS tuning continues, potentially making the V60 one of the most photography-focused phones in its category.

Performance & Battery Upgrades
Under the hood, the V60 is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset, offering a performance leap over the V50’s Snapdragon 7 Gen 3. While Vivo hasn't yet revealed RAM and storage variants, it's confirmed that the phone will feature a larger 6,500mAh battery, an increase of 500mAh over the V50. Although charging speed is unconfirmed, it's speculated that the V60 might support 80W fast charging, slightly under the V50’s 90W due to the bigger battery.

Advanced Camera Setup
The Vivo V60 will feature a total of four cameras, all benefiting from ZEISS optics. The main camera uses a 50MP Sony IMX766 sensor with OIS, accompanied by a 50MP Sony IMX882 telephoto lens (also with OIS) and an ultrawide lens. On the front, there's a 50MP selfie camera with a 92-degree field of view. The phone also includes advanced photography features like stage and four-season portrait modes, alongside AI tools such as AI Magic Move.

Design, Colors & Durability
Available in Auspicious Gold, Mist Gray, and Moonlit Blue, the V60 sports a quad-curved display and runs on Funtouch OS 15. It's built to last, boasting IP68 and IP69 ratings for water and dust resistance.

Expected Price
Based on previous trends, the Vivo V60 is expected to be priced around ₹40,000 in India. More official details will be revealed soon, so stay tuned.
