Mumbai: A local train was delayed for five minutes on Tuesday when a small floor cleaning machine fell off the track at CSMT, causing a brief disruption in operations. The incident occurred between 11:33 AM and 11:38 am, after the machine's operator reportedly lost control of the device.
The cleaner, which had been in use on the platform, was accidentally knocked off by the operator. Railway officials quickly responded, halting the train momentarily to ensure safety and clear the obstruction.
Service resumed shortly after the delay, with the train running on schedule from 11:38 am. The cause of the machine's fall is being investigated by railway authorities. Authorities are reviewing the circumstances of the mishap to prevent future occurrences. Thankfully, no passengers were harmed.
