Palghar, Maharashtra: Following the recent terrorist attack on tourists in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, a protest was held by the Muslim community of Palghar city on Friday. After offering prayers at the city's Jama Masjid, a large number of community members gathered outside to express their strong condemnation of the incident.
The brutal attack in Pahalgam has sparked outrage across the country, with protests and demonstrations being organized at various locations. Reflecting the nationwide sentiment, the Muslim community of Palghar also organized a protest to denounce the attack.
During the demonstration, members of the community tied black bands on their arms as a mark of mourning and paid tribute to the tourists who lost their lives in the attack. Protesters chanted slogans such as "Pakistan Murdabad" (Death to Pakistan) and demanded strong action against Pakistan and severe punishment for the perpetrators. The demonstrators also burned the national flag of Pakistan as a symbol of their anger and frustration.
The protestors demanded strong and decisive action against terrorism and called for the permanent eradication of terrorist forces from the region.
