The 12th edition of the prestigious IAA Leadership Awards saw creative visionary Prasoon Joshi inducted into the IAA Hall of Fame for his extraordinary contribution to the advertising and creative industries over the decades. On the other hand, Kartik Aaryan and Tripti Dimri were named as IAA Brand Endorsers of the Year in the male and female categories, respectively, for their growing resonance with youth, authenticity, and strong brand associations.
Kartik Aaryan and the witty speech
"I think I'm endorsing about 30 brands atleast, and I'm glad to be here, because with all of you in the audience il probably reach the number 50 by the end of the night! I believe there is a responsibility given to me when endorsing a brand, and I do my level best to fulfill that. I take full ownership of it, so thank you for this award and for believing in me."
Prasoon Joshi: Not jugaad, but innovation
"This room is full of people I have learnt from, we all joined this industry because of the giants who built it. And my request to all of us is that never lose that because the talent gets attracted by talent, so we need to make sure that great people join this profession.
One thing we need to take out from our vocabulary is the word jugaad. I think it is very condescending that we call innovation as jugaad. I think if you want to enter the next phase, you will have to recognize the one who repairs your car in a remote place and suddenly appears as an avatar, isn't jugaad, its innovation.

We're also talking a lot about AI and artificial intelligence, but I don't think there's anything artificial about artificial intelligence. Everything which is there is human data, so I don't think it's artificial. When people say that the scripts tomorrow will be written by artificial intelligence, that's not artificial- its actually something which is experiential. But what would make humans excel? I think the first thing that we need to see is a model where we collaborate with artificial intelligence, what we call AI. And the second thing is I think a lot of human brilliance is somewhere resting in the unexpressed part of humans. Thank you very much for this honor again, my family is here, and all of them have always supported me because of which I could go on."
Tripti, what a journey!
"Thanks to all the brands who believed in me. I feel truly special to be here today. And it's been a very special journey, full of learning, love and fun. I'm just truly grateful to be here and to be a part of IAA."
