After captivating dessert lovers across Bandra, Juhu, Fort, and Malad, Dessert Therapy brings its signature indulgence to the heart of Ghatkopar with the launch of its fifth outlet today. Known for its immersive décor, seasonal innovations, and luxe take on all-vegetarian desserts, this new outlet promises to elevate the East Mumbai dessert scene.
Located at the R-city mall, the Ghatkopar outlet continues the brand’s commitment to experience-driven dessert dining. The Ghatkopar outlet of Dessert Therapy features an earthy palette of black and brown tones, creating a calm and grounding ambiance. True to the brand’s philosophy, no two stores are alike—while some embrace playful swings or lounge-style seating, this space offers a more serene, minimalist vibe.
From a humble beginning with just ₹10,000 and a home kitchen, Dessert Therapy has grown into a ₹10+ crore revenue brand in FY 2024-25, driven by a luxe, 100% vegetarian dessert menu and a deep-rooted commitment to quality. Founded in 2016 by brothers Nisarg and Harsh Shah, the brand launched its first outlet during the 2020 lockdown and quickly became a citywide favourite through word-of-mouth and social media love. Launched during the 2020 lockdown, the brand’s first outlet quickly became a citywide phenomenon through word-of-mouth and social media love. Over the years, it has become known for seasonal transformations, like the recent Sakura Wonderland, which turned all four existing outlets into sakura-themed immersive spaces for spring. Since its launch, the brand has seen exponential growth and has become synonymous with a good dessert experience.
“We’ve always believed that desserts are emotional – they’re about joy, nostalgia, and shared moments,” shared Harsh and Nisarg Shah, Co-founders of Dessert Therapy. “With Ghatkopar, we wanted to bring that emotion to a new neighbourhood and create a space where every bite and every corner feels thoughtfully crafted.”
The Ghatkopar outlet will continue to serve over 20 varieties of cheesecakes and pancakes, along with specialty desserts like Tiramisu and Churro Chips. Guests can also enjoy a wide selection of coffees, iced teas, and an array of other desserts and cakes. Whether you’re in the mood to linger over layers or sneak in a sweet fix on the go, Dessert Therapy’s got you covered—dine-in, takeaway, or delivery, your cravings decide the vibe.
Additionally, from now until mid-June, the brand is serving the Dessert Therapy Tropical Menu—a limited edition summer menu featuring the return of seasonal favourites like Mango Cheesecake, Mango Tres Leches, and Mangoes & Cream Pancakes, alongside fresh new indulgences such as the Coco Man (a chilled coconut and mango drink), Mango Matcha Latte, and the beachy Pina Colada Cheesecake. For those craving deeper flavours, the Hazelnut Praline & Mango Dark Chocolate Cake offers a rich, silky contrast with just the right hint of sweetness.
With a loyal following that includes celebrities, dessert connoisseurs, and Gen Z foodies, Dessert Therapy continues to grow as a destination, not just a dessert stop. The Ghatkopar launch is part of the brand’s larger vision to expand across Mumbai and other cities, bringing thoughtfully designed spaces and seasonal menus to a wider audience.
