Manchester United are gearing up to host Chelsea at Old Trafford this weekend as they aim to kick-start a bid to turn their season around. The Red Devils have had a rocky start to the campaign, with just one victory from their first four league matches - their latest defeat being a thumping at the hands of Manchester City last weekend.
The task doesn't get any easier as they prepare to welcome Chelsea to Manchester. Manager Ruben Amorim is hoping to field his strongest team for the clash, and it seems he may be in luck with a couple of key players poised to make a comeback.
Amorim has confirmed that both Matheus Cunhaand Mason Mount are fit and ready to play, although Diogo Dalot and Lisandro Martinez remain sidelined.
In his pre-match press conference, he revealed: "Dalot is out, Mase and Cunha are in the squad. Licha is still out, that is it."
Discussing Martinez's recovery, Amorim said: "It's really important [that Martinez is nearing a return]. When you have that injury you recover a lot of times very fast and then there is a boring part where it looks like you don't go to the next step.

"We do miss Licha a lot. We miss the aggression in this moment, how aggressive he is on everything he does, we miss him. But he's always there in every meeting, even in training, he stays there to watch the training... I think we need Licha in this team."
Another player who won't be featuring is Tyrell Malacia, who is currently up for sale. Speaking about the Dutchman, Amorim said: "He is returning with contact with the ball with the Under-21s, then we will see."
Enzo Maresca's squad have kicked off the new season on a high note. The Blues remain undefeated after four matches, despite a loss in their Champions League opener against Bayern Munich.
The west London side faced a new worry during their match against the German giants as Cole Palmerappeared to pick up an injury, but he seems likely to be fit for the Old Trafford clash.

During his pre-match press conference, Maresca confirmed: "Cole is okay. We have a session now, we flew back yesterday. We need to assess some players, we have some doubt. We didn't have a session since Wednesday's game, but we will see."
While Palmer appears ready to play, several other players won't be joining him on the pitch. Long-term injuries continue to sideline Levi Colwill and Liam Delap, while midfielder Dario Essugo is also out of action.
Benoit Badiashile and Romeo Lavia are grappling with their own fitness issues and, although they're nearing recovery, this weekend's journey to Old Trafford may come too soon.
In addition to the injury woes, Raheem Sterling and Axel Disasi remain out of favour and are almost certain not to make the cut, while Ukrainian star Mykhailo Mudryk is serving a suspension.
