Lightning struck twice at the Sanderson Farms Championship as PGA Tour players Matt Kuchar and Niklas Norgaard aced the same hole on the same day at the Country Club of Jackson in Mississippi.
For Norgaard, it was his first hole-in-one on the PGA Tour; however, due to the hidden putting surface on this particular hole, he did not get to watch his ball go in. His celebrations were relatively restrained, although he did eventually raise both arms after retrieving his ball from the cup.
That earned the Dane a warm response from the spectators. Kuchar then hit an almost identical shot to Norgaard.

His tee shot landed in a similar spot, around 12 yards from the hole, before rolling up the green and into the hole.
The seasoned pro also birdied the previous par-five hole and ended his opening round with back-to-back birdies to finish four-under at tied for 13th.
Norgaard, however, followed up his ace with a bogey, another coming on the eighth hole to finish the front nine even.
He also played the back nine even after a pair of birdies and bogeys, finishing the opening day tied for 88th.
The 33-year-old is just over 12 months removed from winning the British Masters at The Belfry, his first victory on the European Tour. Kuchar, on the other hand, is a much more experienced campaigner.
He was the runner-up to Jordan Spieth at the 2017 Open Championship at Royal Birkdale, just a year after bagging a bronze medal at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro.
The seasoned American golfer, a former World No. 4, has been part of four Ryder Cup teams from 2010 to 2016, with his only victory coming in the latter year.
