A woman has claimed she managed to sample some of Charli XCX's wedding cake, leaving fans stunned. The Brat sensation wowed in a short white dress, veil, and her signature black sunglasses as she married her long-term boyfriend, George Daniel over the weekend in an intimate London ceremony.
The 32-year-old tied the knot at Hackney Town Hall in front of their parents and a small group of friends. Later in the night, they headed to Italian restaurant Dalla with around 20 guests and carried on the party at a local bar - and one fan says they were able to taste test leftovers from the sweet treat.
A waiter working that night gave the leftover cake that the couple did not want to one of her friends named Ruby. The cake, made by Violet's Cakes by Claire Ptak, featured white icing and a fig on top.

Ruby, who says she "swears she's not a stalker", was gobsmacked after she thought she would only be getting a slice of the cake, but ended up with everything that was left over from the big day.
Ruby shared what happened on her TikTok page and said: "My friend works in the restaurant where they had their wedding reception last night and they had some cake left over and I was talking to him today.
"He was like, 'Oh, do you want to swing by and get a slice?' He boxed up a slice for me, a slice for me, and then I think it was the owner of the restaurant that was like, 'Do you just want it? It's going to go in the bin.'"
After doing a taste test, Ruby said it was "lovely". She said her friends told her she could make some money and sell the cake to fans, but Ruby said she felt it was wrong.
Ruby boxed up a couple of pieces for her pals, admitting that they are all huge fans of the singer. She said: "How fun for everyone to be able to say they've had a slice of Charli and George's wedding cake."
One shocked individual commented: "Imagine just sitting in your house eating Mr and Mrs XCX's wedding cake on a random day." "May this type of luck find me," added another.
"This is so weird but so iconic at the same time," noted another.
Another said: "Oh wow, that was not on my bingo card to see a review of Charli and George's wedding cake - I love the internet."
But others seemed confused. "What if she wants it back?" said one. "This doesn't sit right with me," commented another. "Is this considered theft?" questioned another.
Backing up Ruby, one individual said: "Guys, as someone who also works at a restaurant, it is very common that people don't want to take the rest of their wedding cake home with them and then everyone in the kitchen gets to chow down on it. It's really not weird."
One other said: "I used to spend my summer's working as a cater waiter - haven eaten many stranger's wedding cake in my time."
