Mum Katie Price has broken her silence on rumours of a rift between herself and her daughter Princess Andre.
The glamour model and her daughter Princess, 18, were rumoured to be embroiled in a rift after Katie, 47, was left out of filming for Princess' reality show, The Princess Diaries, which is set to air this Sunday. Katie has now insisted there is no bad blood between herself and her daughter, but reveals she is "very, very upset" over one issue.
Speaking on the latest episode of her podcast, The Katie Price Show – which is titled The Truth Behind Princess Diaries, Katie hits out at Princess' management for not "allowing" the TV personality to be there to support and guide her daughter as she finds her feet in the world of showbiz. It was also explained on the podcast that Katie's team offered for her to take part in the reality series 'for free' as the star 'didn't want to use the opportunity to raise her profile' but the production company allegedly refused. It comes after Katie Price worries fans with appearance in family photo after explaining weight loss.

Speaking in the podcast, she says: "There's been all of these rumours that there's a rift between me and Princess. There is absolutely no rift between me and Princess. Me and Princess have never, ever, ever had an argument to this day - or a disagreement. We get on like best friends, mother and daughter. Princess lives with me and she stays at her dad's. She's been staying at her dad's the past two months because she's been filming her show. Our personal life together is amazing."
She adds how she is "very, very upset" that Princess' career is being managed by her ex-husband Peter Andre's management and says she's being left out. Katie explains how her ex-management company, The CAN Group, are managing Princess' career, despite her protests in the past.
Katie was managed by The CAN Group when she was in a relationship with Peter, but ties were severed between the former Page 3 model and the management when she and Peter split in 2009. In the episode of her podcast, she explains: "I've always said, over my dead body would I ever want her to manage my kids because she doesn't like me and Pete and me don't talk. I am very, very, very upset that Princess has signed with them when she was 16. I wasn't asked to look at any contracts so I don't know what Princess has signed because it's all to do with that side."
Mum-of-five Katie, who shares Junior and Princess with her ex-husband Peter, says she feels "very disrespected" as a mum by the move. She added: "But now she's managing Princess and Junior, out of my control, I want the best for Junior and Princess, always, and I will never get in the way of it. But what hurts my feelings – and it does upset me – is when your kids grow up, you go to their assemblies, you go to their Christmas things, you go to their awards, you know, you go to their football matches or their gymnastics, you're involved in everything they do and knowing that what my career has been, Princess is taking that same path – trying to do the same as what I've done – which I absolutely love and adore of Princess but I had not been allowed to go on any photoshoot, no signings or Superdrug openings or anything like that. Why? Because I'm not allowed and I'm not welcome."
Katie continued to explain she had spoken to Princess about her hurt feelings, but alleges her management won't allow Princess to take on career ventures because "they think I'm trash". She adds: "Everyone knows she's my daughter so what difference does it make?"
In the lengthy, candid admission about her feelings surrounding her daughter's career, Katie adds that she finds it an "insult" that she hasn't been allowed to be there to help guide the 18 year old.
Elsewhere in the podcast chat, Katie addressed not being "allowed" to go to her daughter's 18th birthday celebrations – as the star jetted off to Ibiza while her daughter celebrated the milestone with her dad Peter. Katie now claims she jetted off to the party island as she didn't want it "rubbed in her face" that she wasn't allowed to attend her daughter's celebration. She added: "The reason is because Pete doesn't want to be in the same room as me because I'm his ex. Well, we need to have some home truths here; when the kids get older and they get married is he still going to have the same attitude that only one parent can be there because I disagree."
