A brand-new crop of singletons is ready to jet off to the villa in search of love, and as always, the new TV personalities have been generating a huge buzz ever since revealed their identities today (June 2).
Among this year’s line-up are footballer Harry Cooksley, fire-breather-turned-activist Sophie Lee, Scottish business graduate Alima Gagio, and cheeky chappy Tommy Bradley, who has had a dramatic body transformation ahead of his big TV moment.
A secret source spoke about some of the cast members to The Sun, saying: "Harry’s got the full package - a great, athletic bod and great chat. Love Island’s ladies love a footballer and The Surrey Zidane will be sure to impress as he plays away.
"Tommy seems to tick all the Love Island boxes as the cheeky chappy of this summer’s series. He looks to enjoy a night out with the lads and out on the scene with his brother. But he’s also packed on serious muscle over the last year ready for telly’s famous villa and is no longer just a personality hire."
There is also Dejon Noel Williams, a personal trainer and semi-pro footballer; Helena Ford, a glamorous cabin crew member; and Blu, a London-based construction project manager.
In true Love Island fashion, the original cast will be joined by a host of bombshells throughout the series. These late arrivals are designed to stir things up and turn heads just as couples begin to get comfortable together.
Among those rumoured to be entering the villa later are 6'5" PT Aaron Buckett, make-up artist Lucy Quinn, and salon owner Rose Selway, who already has several former Islanders among her clientele.
