CM visited Minto Bridge with Minister Pravesh Verma
On the other hand, Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta along with Public Works Department (PWD) Minister Pravesh Verma on Friday inspected the waterlogging affected areas of the national capital, especially Minto Bridge. Speaking to reporters at Minto Bridge, Gupta said that a bus had earlier drowned due to waterlogging in the area. To prevent this, automatic pumps have been installed, which start automatically when the water level rises. The Chief Minister assured that water pump operators will be deployed here 24 hours a day during the rainy season. Both the leaders stressed on finding a permanent solution to the problem of waterlogging.
