IND vs PAK match date announced, ACC released Asia Cup-2025 schedule, know full details

There was a lot of uncertainty about the India-Pakistan match in the Asia Cup. After the Pahalgam attack, there were talks of not playing against Pakistan but the Asian Cricket Council decided to hold the match. This decision is also being criticized but the ACC has scheduled the India-Pakistan match on 14 September.

There was a lot of confusion about the match between India and Pakistan in the Asia Cup. While there were talks of not playing against Pakistan after the terrorist attack in Pahalgam, the decision of former players not to play against Pakistan in the World Champions League further fuelled this. All eyes were on the Asia Cup and it was being said that there should not be a match between India and Pakistan in this tournament. However, the Asian Cricket Council has decided that this match will be held.

The political atmosphere regarding this match is quite heated. It is being criticized loudly and it is being said that the cricket match is not bigger than the Indian people killed in the Pahalgam attack. But these criticisms have had no effect. The ACC has announced the schedule on Saturday and has kept the India-Pakistan match on 14 September.

Asia Cup changes according to the upcoming World Cup. The last Asia Cup was played in 2023 which was in ODI format because the ODI World Cup was to be held in India that year.
