Kartik Amavasya, the new moon day of the Kartik month, is considered highly significant in Sanatan Dharma. Perform Shivalinga abhishekam with honey.
Worship Lord Vishnu, Goddess Lakshmi, Lord Krishna, and Tulsi for prosperity and spiritual growth.
Kartik Amavasya marks the transition from darkness to light and is a day for spiritual purification. According to the Mahabharata (Shanti Parva), Lord Krishna himself favored this day. Performing Tarpan (ancestral offerings) and making donations on this day is considered highly auspicious, helping cleanse sins and gain blessings for prosperity and well-being.
