Maruti Suzuki Dzire Surpasses Hyundai Creta to Become July 2025's Best Selling Car

Maruti Suzuki Dzire, priced starting at ₹6.84 lakh ex-showroom, has secured the top position in the Indian car market for July 2025, overtaking the long-reigning Hyundai Creta. In July, Maruti Suzuki sold 20,895 units of Dzire, outpacing Creta’s 16,898 units. This remarkable achievement marks the first time in the current financial year that Dzire has led the overall sales chart, reflecting its surging popularity, especially in smaller cities and towns.

The recent generation of Dzire, launched in November last year, has contributed to this success with a refreshed design, enhanced safety, and updated features. Notably, it became the first Maruti car to secure a 5-star safety rating. Dzire’s appeal lies in its blend of high fuel efficiency, robust build, and accessible pricing.
