He added, “A man named ‘Roman Peter’ will become Pope during the final persecution of the Holy Roman Church. He will lead his people into many conflicts. When it is all over, the city of the seven hills will be destroyed and a terrible judge will judge the people.”

The mention of “Roman Peter” in this prophecy has sparked a debate as to whether the next Pope will actually be from Rome or is a symbolic name pointing to a leader who will face many challenges. At the same time, the mention of the “city of seven hills” indicates possible turmoil in Rome and the Vatican.

Predictions were also made about the Third World War

Nostradamus has also predicted the Third World War in his book. He has written, "In one country, a new leader will take power due to a people's revolution, in another country a new Pope will sit and China will wage war against the Church. The new religion (Islam) will reach Italy and France, will wreak havoc against the Church and then the Third World War will begin."
