Donald Trump's son Barron Trump has had an extraordinarily pampered life since birth, and it seems he's growing up with a rumoured new girlfriend. The 19-year-old student is the only child of Donald Trump and his wife, Melania Trump, whilst the US President also has four other children from two former marriages.
Barron, who is Trump's youngest child, has stayed predominantly away from public attention, but speculation emerged earlier this year that he has a girlfriend, believed to be his first.
While the teenager has yet to confirm a romance, any relationship of his will certainly benefit from his opulent way of life, which he's been enjoying from an extremely early age.
One instance saw him acquire a remarkably costly golden pushchair thanks to Ellen DeGeneres.
Whilst most individuals are satisfied with their own bedrooms, a single room simply wouldn't be adequate for Barron. When he was an infant, Baron had already secured an entire floor of his parents' Manhattan penthouse as his territory, reports the Mirror.
The suite, situated in Trump's infamous Fifth Avenue residence, boasted a nursery, lounge, kitchen, and accommodation for Melania and the nannies. He seemed to cherish the space, with Melania revealing to People following his birth that he was a "very good baby" and "not like a crybaby - he's calm, and it's fantastic."
As a youngster, he didn't bask in the spotlight of his father's celebrity status; he also relished the benefits of Melania's business endeavour when she launched her caviar-infused skincare range, Caviar Complexe C6, in 2013.
At just seven years old, Barron had already embraced a sophisticated skincare routine.
Melania told ABC News that she slathered the premium moisturiser on Barron nightly following his bath.
"I put it on him from head to toe," she disclosed. "He likes it!"
When Trump entered the White House in 2017, young Barron was promptly assigned his own private accommodation.
His lavish way of life extended beyond his living arrangements; his schooling reflected this extravagance, with attendance at some of the nation's most elite and expensive institutions.
Prior to his White House period, Barron was enrolled at Columbia Grammar and Preparatory School, situated in Manhattan's Upper West Side.
During his final year there, he funded a Washington trip for his entire fifth-grade class, where a group of 80 pupils, staff, and Secret Service personnel explored the White House.
His academic path led him to St Andrew's in Potomac, Maryland, where annual fees reached a staggering $50,000 (£39,000).
After the Trumps relocated to Mar-a-Lago in 2021, Barron transferred to Oxbridge Academy in Palm Beach, where tuition costs amount to a substantial $38,000 (£29,000), according to the school's website. Despite his lavish upbringing, Barron relished precious moments with his Slovenian grandparents, enjoying traditional meals prepared by his late grandmother, Amalija Knavs.
He was brought up on Slovenian cuisine and speaks the language fluently, courtesy of his mother and grandparents' guidance - he's also proficient in French.
Melania has repeatedly voiced her and Trump's dedication to being available for Barron.
In a 2015 interview with People, Melania highlighted her parenting philosophy: "I like to be hands-on. I think it's very important. Barron is nine-years-old. He needs somebody as a parent there, so I am with him all the time. As you know, my husband is travelling all the time."
When Trump was at home, Melania lauded his fathering abilities, disclosing how he'd spend his mornings talking and connecting with Barron. Trump once admitted: "We keep it [nannies] down to a minimum. If you have too much help, you don't get to know your children."
Back in 2012, Melania also revealed to Hip Mama magazine that Barron was "a very strong-minded, very special, smart boy" who is "independent and opinionated and knows exactly what he wants."
Despite Barron's extravagant lifestyle and numerous privileges, Melania cherished her motherly responsibilities and dedicated every available moment to him.
"I am a full-time mum; that is my first job. The most important job ever," the first lady proclaimed. As Melania's first and Trump's fifth child, the news of Barron's impending arrival seemed to take the president by surprise.
Melania shared with People: "He came home [one day last August], and I told him he'd be a daddy. And his reaction was at first he needed to take it in.
"It was a real surprise. And then he was very happy."
Trump admitted that while he anticipated having children with Melania, Barron's swift arrival was unexpected. He previously commented: "I expected we were going to have children, so I wasn't totally surprised. But I was surprised by the speed of it. It happened very quickly."
