Manchester United could benefit financially if Andreas Pereira departs Fulham this summer.
The Brazilian midfielder's contract at Craven Cottage is set to expire at the end of the season, although Marco Silva's team have the option to extend it for another year.
Despite Fulham's desire to secure Pereira on improved terms, the 29 year old is reportedly open to exploring new opportunities.
Nottingham Forest and Marseille are among the clubs interested in him, with Brazilian side Palmeiras also showing interest in January.
If Fulham decide to entertain offers for Pereira, United stand to gain a financial windfall due to a 20% sell-on clause included when they sold the Belgian-born player to Fulham in September 2022.
The deal was sealed for an initial £8million plus £2m in bonuses.
