
Rock legend Ozzy Osbourne has died aged 76, just weeks after he finally returned to Birmingham for Black Sabbath's final ever gig. The beloved frontman made his return to Birmingham stages for the first time in two decades as part of the Back to the Beginning farewell concert. He performed with original bandmates Bill Ward, Tony Iommi, and Geezer Butler, leaving fans visibly emotional seeing Ozzy seated on a throne throughout the performance, which turned out to be his last ever.
Dressed entirely in black with dramatic eye makeup, Ozzy who was fighting Parkinson's disease, delivered classic anthems including I Don't Know, Mr. Crowley, Suicide Solution, Mama I'm Coming Home, and Crazy Train.
Concluding his legendary career, Ozzy was clearly emotional as he departed the stage amid spectacular fireworks, offered his appreciation with a sincere "thank you," blowing kisses and raising his arms to the crowd.

He reunited with his bandmates on stage at Villa Park as he said to the crowd: "You've no idea how I feel - thank you from the bottom of my heart."Ozzy's final message to his fans on stage summarised his outrageous stage persona as he said: "Thank you for everything, you guys are f***ing amazing. Birmingham Forever."
It comes after Ozzy's family confirmed his passing after years of battling Parkinson's in a statement. It read: "It is with more sadness than mere words can convey that we have to report that our beloved Ozzy Osbourne has passed away this morning.
"He was with his family and surrounded by love. We ask everyone to respect our family privacy at this time."
His wife, Sharon, and children, Aimee, Kelly, Jack, and Louis, signed the statement.
Osbourne announced that he had been diagnosed with Parkinson's disease in 2020 before taking a break from touring in 2023 following extensive spinal surgery.
Tributes have been pouring in from fans all over the world, with Black Sabbath also paying a poignant two word statement. They shared on Instagram: "Ozzy Forever".
