Prince Harry is currently on the third day of his four-day visit to the UK, with the royal using his time to carry out a number of engagements to a few charities that he still remains involved with. The 40-year-old appeared at the WellChild Awards on Monday, whilst he travelled to Nottingham to visit the Community Recording Studio on Tuesday.

Following the news of the Duchess of Kent's death last week, members of Harry's family are due to attend the late royal's funeral in London on September 16. Harry is, however, due to fly back to be reunited with Meghan Markle and their two children - Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet - on Thursday afternoon.

With more 5,000 miles between London and California - which is where Harry now resides - it remains unknown whether he will travel back to his home country for the royal funeral next week.

The Duchess of Kent - who was the wife of the late Queen's cousin, the Duke of Kent - died aged 92 on September 4.

A statement released on Saturday by Buckingham Palace read: "Her Royal Highness's coffin will be taken by hearse to Westminster Cathedral on September 15 where the Rite of Reception and Vespers will take place, on the eve of the Requiem Mass. Thereafter it will rest overnight in the Lady Chapel."

The statement also added that "Their Majesties The King and Queen and Members of the Royal Family" will be joining The Duke of Kent and members of The Duchess's family at the Requiem Mass for The Duchess of Kent.

Afterwards, the coffin will be taken by hearse to the Royal Burial Ground at Frogmore in Windsor.

Before Harry flys back to California tomorrow, it has been revealed that he will attend a small event for the Diana Award. Harry has attended many events for the Diana Award, including travelling to Las Vegas to launch a new youth initiative back in May.

During an event in the UK in March 2024, Harry made an appearance remotely - whilst his brother Prince William attended in person.
