
Dianne Buswell and Joe Sugg have announced that they are expecting their first child together. The Strictly Come Dancing professional and YouTuber met originally on the BBC dance competition after being paired together. They announced the exciting news on social media on Sunday sharing an adorable Instagram video. They added the caption: "Our little baby boy. We cannot wait to meet you." In the heartwarming video footage, the couple are painting an announcement picture on a canvas. They also added Elton John's Tiny Dancer as background music and at the end of the footage, the pair turn the canvas around to reveal the year: "2026."
The announcement has already prompted hundreds of comments from fans congratulating them on the news. Zoe Ball typed: "Oh my my, this just melted my heart completely. Congratulations, you gorgeous ones." [sic]
Fleur East also commented: "Ahhhh! No way! Congratulations to you both." Strictly judge Shirley Ballas also remarked: "Ahhhh congratulations to you both @diannebuswell @joe_sugg."
Amy Dowden chimed in: "Still screaming, dancing and celebrating! So so happy for you both! Magical." Angela Scanlon also said: "Congratulations you beautiful pair xxxxx."
Fellow professional Nancy Xu said: "YEAHHHHH!!!!THIS IS THE BEST NEWS !!!! I CAN'T WAIT TO MEET HIM." Kevin Clifton also commented: "Omg guys!!!! Congratulations.!!! Im so happy for u."(sic)
YouTube star Joe Sugg had never been in a serious relationship until he met Dianne on the BBC dance competition. The pair made it to the 2018 final, but narrowly lost out on the title.
Their loss did not mean the end of their partnership, as the couple announced their romance shortly after the final. Taking to his official Instagram profile, Joe posted at the time: "I may not have won the Glitterball, but I've won something a million times more special."
Strictly Come Dancing returns on September 20 on BBC One.
