The UK is set for a scorching end to April as turn red with 23C heat. Eleven counties in the North and Midlands of , while the rest of the UK will enjoy a balmy 17C to 22C, according to WXCharts.
Yorkshire will be at the centre of the mini heatwave on Wednesday 30 April, with the whole of the county predicted to heat up to 23c at 6pm. Neighbouring counties will bask in the same glorious temperatures, including Lancashire, Derbyshire, and Greater Manchester, as well as Nottinghamshire and Cheshire. The rest of England will enjoy the mini heatwave too, with temperatures set to peak at a sizzling 20C to 22C throughout the country.
Scotland will bask in a pleasant 17C to 18C according to the weather maps, which have given a similar forecast to the opposite side of the UK in Cornwall.
Wales is also set for a scorcher, with WXCharts predicting a balmy 19C to 20C throughout the country, although the north will enjoy the best temperatures.
Cardiff could settle on 19C, slightly warmer than the South Wales coast, while areas around the Snowdonia National Park in North Wales could reach 21C.
Northern Ireland could enjoy the same heat as parts of England and Wales, with Belfast forecast a summery 19C, although the maximum temperatures are forecast for the coast, at around 21C.
The Met Office long range forecast between 28 April to 7 May said: "Most likely starting off widely fine with sunny spells, following the clearance of early morning mist and fog.
"This most likely in the south, whilst in the north there's a greater chance of more cloud which may take some time to clear."
