Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s flagship initiative, Pariksha Pe Charcha (PPC), has achieved a historic milestone by entering the Guinness World Records for the “Most people registered on a Citizen Engagement Platform in one month.” The 8th edition of PPC, hosted on the MyGov platform, received a staggering 3.53 crore valid registrations, setting a new global benchmark in participatory governance.

Launched in 2018, Pariksha Pe Charcha is a unique global platform where the Prime Minister engages directly with students, parents, and teachers. This pioneering initiative reimagines the exam season as a time of positivity, preparation, and purpose—shifting the focus from stress to celebration and inspiring students to approach learning with confidence and enthusiasm.

The official Guinness World Record certificate was formally awarded at a prestigious ceremony held in New Delhi. The event was graced by Union Education Minister Shri Dharmendra Pradhan, Union Minister for Electronics & IT Shri Ashwini Vaishnaw, Minister of State for Electronics & IT Shri Jitin Prasada, Secretary of School Education Shri Sanjay Kumar, MyGov CEO Shri Nand Kumarum, along with senior officials from the Ministries of Education and Electronics & IT. The record was officially verified and announced by Guinness World Records adjudicator Shri Rishi Nath.

Addressing the occasion, Shri Dharmendra Pradhan praised Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi for transforming exam preparedness into a joyful celebration of learning. He noted that Pariksha Pe Charcha 2025 garnered over 21 crore views across various media platforms, reflecting the nation’s collective dedication to holistic education and the vision of a Viksit Bharat.

Shri Ashwini Vaishnaw praised PPC as a transformational initiative that connects millions of students with opportunities and guidance, especially during the Amrit Kaal. He emphasized that the record-breaking engagement reflects widespread public trust and faith in PM Modi’s vision.

Shri Jitin Prasada applauded MyGov’s technological innovation in expanding the programme’s reach, noting that the record reinforces the importance of technology-driven citizen engagement.

Aligned with the goals of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, PPC advocates stress-free, experiential learning over rote memorization. The initiative addresses key studentconcerns like digital distractions, emotional resilience, time management, and more through the Prime Minister’s personal and motivational interactions.
