Bhubaneswar: Security forces on Saturday seized a large cache of Maoist explosives and materials, including 36 detonators and 33 gelatin sticks, during a search operation in a forest near Kanagun village under Manamunda police limits in Boudh district.
Two IPS officers sent on central deputation: Two IPS officers were on Saturday sent on central deputation. Both have been appointed senior officers in the BSF. Ravi Kant, a 1998-batch IPS officer, has been appointed as IG, BSF. Mitrabhanu Mohapatra, 2010-batch IPS has been transferred as DIG, BSF.TNN
