Rs 99 lakh recovered from cybercriminals: Mizoram cops

‘99L recovered from cybercriminals': Financial frauds dominated the cybercrime scenario in Mizoram with officials of the cybercrime police station already recovering over Rs 99.48 lakh from fraudsters while over Rs 11.07 lakh has been kept frozen, officials of the CID (crime) said on Sunday, reports HC Vanlalruata.

The officials also said 113 people have been arrested since 2021 till April 22 this year in connection with the crime and 40 of them have been convicted and sentenced by courts in the state.
