Jyothsna Channdola couldn’t have been more grateful to the universe for allowing her to celebrate her birthday injury-free. After undergoing surgery in June last year for an injury, she took a long time to recover. However, she was perfectly fine just before her birthday and made the most of the occasion. She shares, “I had a wonderful celebration with dear friends like Helly Shah, Mansi Srivastava, Nehalaxmi Joshi, Yukti Kapoor, Ansh Bagri, Pooja, Karan Sharma, and Shashank Vyas.”
Reflecting on her recovery, she says, “The last party was in April when I was still recovering, but by June, I had to undergo surgery for an injury I had sustained earlier. This time, I wasn’t limping, and I’m grateful to have recovered just in time for my birthday. I just hope the universe continues to bring good things into my life and surrounds me with positive people. I also pray to become a better human being.”
The party and decorations were planned by her husband, director Nitesh Singh. The actress, who is best known as Khushi Bharadwaj in Sasural Simar Ka, and was last seen in Kumkum Bhagya, shares, “Nits planned everything, as he always does. He took care of the decorations, and the cake was so thoughtful. Since I love gymming, calisthenics, and martial arts, he incorporated these passions into the cake design with dumbbells and a girl figure. The outfit was also a gift from Nits. I get emotional when I see so much love. I just kept thanking everyone and the universe.”
The celebration ended on a high note, quite literally, with a karaoke session. “We sang song after song, and everyone’s inner singers came out. Even I sang. I didn’t want the night to end; it was a night to remember. We also had a quiet celebration on my actual birthday,” she signs off.
