Veer Hanuman: Kaaldant traps Maruti and curses him; can Anjani save him?

In the upcoming episodes of Veer Hanuman, the tale of young Maruti takes a gripping and emotional turn as the bond between a mother and son is pushed to its limits. Kaaldant, disguised as a mystical scroll, deceives Maruti and traps him in the eerie depths of Talatal. However, Maruti uses his Anima Siddhi—one of the eight powerful siddhis—to shrink in size and defeat the demon from within. Despite his triumph, Maruti pays a steep price: he cannot return to his original form. Enraged and empowered by Patalkali, Kaaldant curses him—stating that only the sacrifice of his mother, Anjani, can restore his true form.

This sets the stage for an emotional dilemma: will Anjani give her life to save her son, or will Maruti choose to remain in his diminished form to protect his beloved mother?

Sayli Salunkhe, who portrays Anjani, opened up about the emotionally charged scenes. “Playing Anjani has been deeply touching. When I filmed the moment she learns about the curse, it reminded me of my own mother’s unconditional love. It was raw and real. The mother-son bond in this story is so powerful, and I feel honored to portray it.”
